No. I don't see her streaming numbers suddenly drastically going upwards. Most young people likely still unaware of her or sees Madonna as cringe as before

People heard Ray of light inspo on addison’s album. TikTok and Twitter talked about that. It drove some previously illiterate people to the Bible.

Madonna has generated a lot of this interest herself recently with the Celebration tour inc Madge on the Beach in Rio, and re-centring her most popular album, Confessions, with its "part 2". She has been on a public, worldwide victory lap for the past like 3 years 

like it or not, both Addison and FKA twigs, plus many in their cohort (Lorde, Miley, Harry Styles, even Gaga) can claim responsibility for a part of the resurgence of interest (specifically in Ray of Light) among young people on the internet who are involved in memetics and the cultures of fandom and aesthetics bc that's how media proliferates and is recycled for youth. Especially nowadays when everything is a reference or rip-off, and style trends are still revolving around the mid-90s/2000s. I think it's important to remember this is a cultural microcosm. though ROL is unique cos it transcends pop music discourse a bit which has allowed the re-upsurge to penetrate broader (hetero) music listening communities

But this has been happening since forever. whether it has made her "cool again" is another question: it's certainly cooler now than it was 5 years ago to claim Madonna as a reference, and it's at least a reminder that she is the blueprint

Yes what I was seeing on socail media. Young people were saying "ok I gave a listen to ROL and I get it now", or "I did Madonna discography and I see when they mean Madonna is blueprint" etc. Especially last year 2025 ROL was referenced a lot that it introduced people to Madonna's music
