BTWB's North American leg would have been a flop

I honestly can't believe this user hasn't been banned yet. Seems like every post he makes is putting Gaga down or disparaging TBTWB in some way.

Omg don't be so extreme haha

@Topic: most of the north-american leg was sold out even before it started. It would've done great, maybe great as the Monster Ball, but that doesn't erase the leg's success.

Grow up a little, this is a forum, I can express my opinions like I want, If you are not agree do not just post something, that's it. The NA leg would be a flop, this is my opinion.

How would it have been a flop if all of the shows we have numbers for were soldout?

I'm being serious. Have you read his other posts? He doesn't make a single good post that's saying something positive about Gaga. Not a single one. He's a troll.

Funny, I never heard you say "In my opinion, the NA leg might have been..."

Nah, it's just a comparison of a couple of the first shows (and they're supposed to be representative of the whole leg, how?) and the reported numbers concerning refunds which you just randomly averaged - which also means they're not weighted correctly. AND you averaged the wrong number to boot (it's 30mill) But more importantly, that is not how all of this works. Tickets would still have been selling days if not hours before a show if the tour was still on. The reported 30mill is what was made at the moment of cancellation, not the total sum it would've made had it not been cut off. And you're comparing this to a completed tour that had many more dates (MB)? That's just baffling. Lastly, not everybody can get or even wants a refund. That is logistically and technically impossible - not even counting time-related problems.

I think it's you who needs to "grow up a little" and accept that there are many variables in place here and that a very simplistic conclusion you draw can be entirely wrong when multiple people poke gigantic holes into it.

In my opinion.

This. The tour WOULD have been successful, just not as successful as the Monster Ball (by a relatively small margin).

The north-american leg's numbers are nowhere near being flops.

Maybe because she did anything positive yet ? When she will make something that impressed me I will applaud her and will be the first one acclaimed it, so honnestly don't be a dellusionnal fan, I have my opinion, you have yours. Subject close.

She was expected to gross $200million, almost as much as TMB, doing half the shows.

She hasn't done anything positive? Did you go to the Ball? Have you smelled Fame? Seen her looking like a Godess in Versace atm? Talked to her? Been to the Born Brave Bus? Even if you haven't...you have to admit her foundation is positive as is her huge perfume, and you have to admit how good she looks lately?
