When you refund your tickets, you can keep it.. It is just the money you have back.

Not the fans whom bought from a place other than Ticketmaster. StubHub, RazorGator, & other sites require the tickets to be returned.

This thread is a mess.

1) People need to quit making excuses for the under average ticket sales she had at some venues. This doesn't mean she's a flop, but this doesn't mean she did absolutely great in the US like so many people try to hype it up to be. Some of Gaga's fans seriously just don't know how to give the woman a break and not expect complete tour perfection at all times, or constantly compare her to other artists have more fresh music. I went to the St. Paul show and it was great, but so many people deny the fact that tickets were nearly almost GIVEN out at the last minute. I'm a huge fan but I can't deny the truth in it as much as I had hoped she would be able to sell out! Even days before the concert there were multiple (and I say multiple as in more than the average that is given for promo) tickets that were sent to radio to be "won". Quit with the excuses that people "just haven't refunded their tickets". That number is so small compared to the difference in full venue capacity that it's almost irrelevant. Just take it for what it is already

2) I have to admit I agree with what the OP is saying. He isn't saying that she canceled it BECAUSE of some of the low ticket sales. But I think that the pressure it caused on her label and Live Nation to not meet some of the expectations they had for the US leg might have caused even more pressure on Gaga, which could have definitely influenced her decision to take a health break for herself and settle for what it was. I think she's taking this as a live and learn experience, and I highly doubt she'll ever tour this late after dropping an album that has slowly lost its relevance after 2 years. As it would be complicated for ANY major artist who had the spotlight for as long as she did in the beginning of her career.

Just let the woman rest. She did an awesome job with the tour and she just had a bump in the road. Guaranteed that the BTW cancellation will NEVER get talked about ever again when she makes up for having to do it. Some of you are just way too critical and overdramatic about it. Be patient.

They put all upper seats on the lower like they did in Toronto.

I can't believe you deffend Gaga like that.. lol I love her too, but come on guys be a little truthfull with yourself.

you can clearly see the upper seats filled up aswell:) using a pic taken before the show even started shows your intentions

You're comparing a couple of NA shows and one Canada show to prove a point about 21 different, hypothetical shows? Then you extrapolate on the ticket refunds to conclude that the amount of refunds would be the total amount of people who would attend those shows? Protip 1: One hell of a lot of tickets are sold right before shows, that's the way it works and has worked for nearly every show, ever. Protip 2: Another hell of a lot of people do not want or can't find a way (logistically, time-wise, etc. etc.) to get a refund on their ticket.

And then you show one pic that occurs before the effing show even started, which means many seats are empty because that's always the case when the show hasn't started yet even when the opening act(s) is/are on.

I'm sorry, but this is pathetic. Embarrassingly so. :fail:

This is a forum. We can voice our opinions. Essentially you are saying we are all delusional and think everything Gaga is doing is the biggest success in the world. I don't think that. However the OP is wrong, yes flat out wrong, for saying the tour was a flop.

For example, Marina and the Diamonds is only playing to a few thousand people each night. We could argue she's a flop. However the shows are always soldout and everyone there is enjoying themselves. All of Madonna's shows have "soldout". However, I'm going to argue that I went to the MDNA tour and everyone complained about how late she was, sat through the entire show, and didn't even know 90% of the songs because nobody bought MDNA.

This isn't true, because many fans aren't refunding their tickets. A lot of them are choosing to keep them for memories of what could have been & for their respective events, such as the NYC frame-project that was done yesterday.

they get directly refuned to their credit card
