We really did just decide not to enforce a law about candidate airtime for 20 years and now a fascist government is using it for political purposes which is bad. But like, they are actually not breaking the law this time which is new for them. lmao I hate everything.

I mean, they're doing bullscheißery tho. Labeling all remaining lefty shows as "late night talk shows" while saying Fox is "news" and therefor excluded from the law. The US has always been an absolute joke when it comes to TV news, at least by German (probably European) standards, but the recent turning of TV into Donald's propaganda outlet takes the cake 😅
