I always felt like her tone in TMB was pretty crisp/bright throughout. The adlibs at the end of LoveGame, the adlibs in Just Dance, the piano section, the end of Teeth…I think it’s pretty vocally strong throughout and one of the only songs where I feel like she’s phoning it in a bit is PF, but she bounces back for BR + BTW. That being said, given that MAYHEM is way more vocally dynamic and she has 15 more years of experience under her belt, the MAYHEM vocals are definitely more well-rounded, well-supported, and varied. Genuinely impressive how she just keeps getting better. We have forgotten our public MANNERS
Kayi 2,949
Shallow never sounded this good. This sounds really mature, dark but also much more emotional. Her voice technic is so amazing for so many reason. She can do very flayed, vulnerable acute pitchs and she can easily do dark pitchs too. So she can easily switch create amzing contrasts. She sounds seductive here. She sounds angry She sounds hungry. She sounds like a crazy scientist and magician decided to sing Rock and Metal sonorities. Idk if it's peak in term of everyone prefered vocal tones, but it's amazing technically. Some pos of haters at the beggining of this era, tried to compare Lady Gaga's voice to Katy's voice. I also saw that some Swifies (the ones that would cry if they had to listen fully to really tortured vocalists like Nina Hagen, Diamanda Galas or Lene Lovich) saying that Lady Gaga's voice is impossible to listen to them... Gurl, youre ears deserve to be blessed with other stuffs than whisper singing, robotic storytelling singing and famous vocalists voices to which you are used to because they are played everywhere... I don’t even think Gaga’s team understands the juggernaut of a hit they have with that song. it is the solo Die With a Smile. it seems basic but it’s actually an extremely addicting track with amazing replay value and it sounds timeless as **** and I don’t understand why it is so slept on. that song is the best produced song on Mayhem and could have come out in any decade and sound good. And it’s actually got really great lyrics. sometimes we over complicate it but Gaga would do well with Lovedrug as a cannon hit. It squeezes in nicely between her early pop dance ability and her mid career classic sensibilities. It’s like if Shallow, The Edge of Glory, and Just Dance had a threesome. Yeah that one is one my normie GP friends repeat a LOT on karaoke nights and we all sound FAV doing it its so singable WTF is MDNA
