Young people have shorter and shorter attention span. This is heavily influenced by TikTok, Instagram Reels, and streaming algorithms. Hence newer albums did not get past 8-9 tracks and songs never get longer than 2 minutes ish now, and many of them don't even watch Netflix and other shows normally anymore, it's seen in 2.5x speed as new normal now
