Gaga's team really stepped their game up during the Mayhem era! People will (understandably) **** on me for being mad at Taylor for doing this but not Gaga, but Taylor is taking everything to the next level. Her last 3 era were pure greed and charts obsession with terrible music released.

It is a pattern. Thanks for saying this, I was going to and so glad I saw your comment! When it coincidentally happens, sure. If it is tied to an artist doing something huge like the Grammys (or an awards show), Halftime, etc., then sure. But she has a pattern of doing this and the pattern is obvious because it has happened for so long. For too long now, everything she does feels dishonest and only for the charts. I'll give it to her, she knows how to market and sell her records/tours, as well as stay out of any controversy that would turn her fanbase away. But it doesn't take away from the fact that its clear she is now almost afraid to not be on top anymore, and that her ego is threatened or whatever is happening with her that she genuinely cannot give it a rest. What happens when artists adopt this attitude, in my true belief and opinion, is that they start not caring to try as hard or experiment because they assume their following will eat up whatever. I think that was clear during this past year for her, although enough people seem to still love it for some reason. As much as I dislike her, I do think she is capable of creating something better, especially with her connections and money. When she can demonstrate to me that she is an artist who actually takes time to create music for the love of the art, instead of for money and charts, she might regain my respect.

I mean, you can't ignore their repetitive attitudes and tendencies. You can't defend someone like that and pretend it's not true. Exactly, it's not something to hate. But it seems very obvious to me that she doesn't take the artistic side of music seriously, and everything seems calculated just to make money. It's as if she's not an artist because there's no "art," just selling, selling, and selling. And if she took seriously the work of making albums with real concepts like she used to, like artists who don't release an album every year and become repetitive, she would earn my respect. Right now, she's like Rihanna between 2006 and 2012. Or Britney in her early albums when there were two or three super-successful singles and then filler. I'm not saying you can't be entitled to your opinion, not only you but many in here, but it would be nice to elaborate on a more complex explanation rather than just calling her a bitch. Not because I care about *her* specifically being called a bitch, but because y'all show your views on a particular kind of woman and that's disgusting
