It was very sweet. I'm from the US (and Latina) & checked out English & Spanish twitter. Normies (and normie journalists) definitely ate his whole performance up (along with Ricky Martin & Gaga), as did like 90% of Spanish twitter. 

 

Then...I made the mistake of looking on stan music twitter lol. I forgot how insane it is, and it was a good reminder to avoid that section of twitter. 

A portion of stan twitter and 10% of Spanish twitter were calling Bad Bunny a racist for having a gringa instead of an Afro-Latina because it was Black history month, furious at him for wearing Zara, and mad at him saying "God Bless America" (even though he clearly meant the Americas). 

Some people are just so miserable about everything. I didn't realize he had those kind of haters, too.

Anyone else think that Gaga was a last minute addition after Bad Bunny gushed over Gaga personally congratulating him on his Grammy wins?

His flustered reaction didn’t seem like one that would’ve happened if he was already interacting with her for something as big as the halftime show. 
 

So I think that inspired him to ask her.

It’s very rare because Gaga has notoriously only turned up to perform with other people twice before I believe?

Nah she’s done it a lot, but not usually with her own songs. She’s performed with Metallica, Stevie Wonder, Sting, more. 
 

I wish we would get a version of the Pet Shop Boys song with her singing all of Dusty’s parts.

Oh I meant more in the sense of turning up without us knowing, we knew she was performing with Metallica, Sting was the one who turned up during her iHeartRadio set not the other way around and RS the first time was a surprise when she was touring for BTWB.
