She looked amazing and while I wasn't keen on this version, to hear her performing this massive hit at America's biggest event was a major win no matter which way you look at it. She danced with him too, so she got the closest out of his guest stars. Between introducing him on SNL, talking to him at the Grammys and now this, seems like the lore could continue. Could a collab happen? The first part of the song didn’t really work in this style imo, but I thought the chorus totally worked as a salsa. The energy was amazing. She could’ve performed it the way she performed it at J&P and it would’ve worked. Explain It was Benito's show, with Apple Music likely having a voice in how it turned out because they sponsor it. He likely picked her and Ricky and asked them to sing specific songs. She likely didn't pick it, these type of things are planned out way, way in advance and Apple Music helps sponsor the half time show. Like it or not, DWAS is one of the most streamed songs of "all" time, even if a lot of little monsters are ambivalent and stan twitter is meh on it. For most little monsters, her classics are BTW, Bad Romance, arguably Abrcadabra, Shallow, etc. But for normies, DWAS is massive...even more so than Shallow.
