An email from Peggy Siegel to Jeffrey Epstein, dated January 27, 2018, mentioned Chalamet in the context of the #MeToo movement and his decision to donate his salary from Woody Allen's A Rainy Day in New York to charity.

The email highlighted that Chalamet was distressed about being "forced" by the press to take a stand against working with Woody Allen while promoting Call Me By Your Name.

Siegal is known for hosting exclusive events for awards contenders, which may have included events featuring films starring Timothée Chalamet, but she is not listed as his personal representative

Allen previously claimed in his 2020 memoirs, Apropos of Nothing, that Chalamet’s decision to give his money away was influenced by his bid to secure an Oscar victory for Call Me By Your Name.

The director wrote in the book, “Timothée afterward publicly stated he regretted working with me and was giving the money to charity, but he swore to my sister he needed to do that as he was up for an Oscar for Call Me by Your Name, and he and his agent felt he had a better chance of winning if he denounced me, so he did.”

It's also not really a big revelation, it was a very obvious PR move as he was full on campaigning for awards season at that time. This being mentioned on a random email by a random industry lady doesn't make it news.

At the end of the day, he did the right thing, so what more is there to discuss?
