It's far from "a Hispanic/Latino issue", it's an American issue and as an American celebrity she has every right and obligation to speak out This cannot be another case of "just let the affected people speak up and the rest of us will clap in the background" like much of BLM was. Don't get me wrong, I'm a little placated by the "ice out" pin and that she's speaking so casually about it when prompted to. I'd still like her to do more but that's honestly just me putting what is potentially too much value in her actions and words.
