David Ward 9,469
In 2010, during the Monster Ball tour, tabloids claimed Gaga was fully convinced she was being followed by a ghost named Ryan. Reports at the time claimed Ryan was not scary or dangerous, but instead he was actually annoying. Appearing in multiple hotels and venues as she traveled around the world. Sources close to her alleged that she believed it could be a bad omen and this reportedly led her to take extensive precautions while traveling. Several publications claimed she invested in advanced paranormal detection equipment, including electromagnetic field meters, with some estimates placing the cost as high as $50,000. We are talking about professional-grade devices, electromagnetic meters, the whole science-fair-meets-Spirit Halloween package. Her team was said to scan hotel rooms and performance spaces in advance, because apparently Ryan did not respect tour schedules or VIP access. People close to the tour suggested some staff members were skeptical, others were supportive, and most were quietly minding their business and collecting their checks. There was a rumored séance in Belfast, where she gathered friends and a local medium to try to communicate with the spirit and convince it to leave her alone. Certain versions of the story claimed she wanted to know why Ryan was attached to her and what he wanted. I guess if you are going to be haunted, you might as well request a formal explanation https://www.thefader.com/2018/10/17/lady-gaga-irish-seance-ghost-ryan https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/lady-gaga-spent-50k-on-a-ghost-detector-after-allegedly-being-chased-by-one.html/ Edited 1 hour ago by David Ward
