SpadesToStart 3,705
I’m OBSESSED with the performance. It felt so cinematic and fresh 6 1
Zander 14,928
I loved it, and I think especially visually it was really kinda ****ing fierce with the way that the whole thing looked. The posing, the camera being in tandem with her, the composition of the frame. Just really great stuff. It's not going to go down as a memorable performance and it doesn't need to be.... but you don't see any other pop artists doing what she does. 4

Monstermilo 5,261
i expect a big pop production from gaga for a dance song like this the last few grammys performances have been very subdued. i wanted full on production.... idc if yall dont agree every performance since 2011 has been very subdued. the metallica performance doesnt count cuz you couldnt hear the singer from metallica during the performance. i wanted something like born this way since we havent seen a big production performance from her since born this way 1 5

I mean, the structure of the song is definitely experimental by pop standards and so was the arrangement she used tonight. Also don’t really know what you’re talking about re: camera work and lighting because I liked the effect, but I guess me liking it is “making excuses” or something 🤣 We have forgotten our public MANNERS

codymonster 8,753
Wasn't able to watch the Grammys, so just saw her performance. That Abracadabra performance had me FLOORED. I was NOT expecting that, but it was so visceral. That, to me, embodied the song. The mistress of mayhem, tortured by fame, robotically posing but also truly emoting her pain. That was absolutely breathtaking and a little uncomfortable to watch. WOW. 3 1

rinasawachanta 3,190
Monsters who didn't like this performance have no taste, and there's Tate McRae/Addison Rae/whateverRae or some other random artist if they want intense, yassified choreography. This performance was worthy of an established artist who is aware of her iconic status and knows that a pose, an outfit (by none other than McQueen!), and an attitude alone SCREAM her name. Live instrumentation and vocals for the ages. The set and the whole vibe of the performance reminded me of the film The Hunger. This is Gaga. No one else, ONLY HER. Deal with it! popkulture 419
The performance was great! She NEVER fails to surprise me. Keep in mind, she's in the middle of her world tour and was just in Tokyo. It would have been impossible to pull off something heavily choreographed. Anyone who disliked the performance is laughable at their lack in taste. The performance was theatrical and quintessential Gaga - poetic and not following the norms of the generic public.
