So a couple of us in this site must be still curious about Gaga's very first years when she was trying to get famous, this little blurry mess period of time is still very unknown but through the years we've been finding out bits of information, right?

well IYKYK someone who happened to be around the same circles just at this particular time and they didn't have a great past with Stefani has been relating their stories and I really really enjoyed their anecdotes and I really appreciate another side of the story from someone who was not close to her but was around the same scene.

to the 3 obsessed girlies who might read this I would LOOOOVEEE to discuss these topics and please do NOT act like 90% of brainless stans who take these things personal and hate on these people or say they are jealous and blah blah blah

I'm shook that she had such a toxic relationship with Luc (but not really cause You and I) and honestly If I was there I would have been annoyed by her behaviour and I wouldn't have expected her to be famous if she had that erratic behavior too

lol that she used to fall and trip on everything and get injured all the time, I have that thing in common

lol that others had to pay her drink bills and later knew she was rich

and the most controversial and revealing of all, How she came up with her stage persona, so she really took from the "Mother ****er NYC party scene" well you know she talked about Rivington rebels and these but I feel nobody looked deep into it so what do you think, (I'm shook they are proto Indie Sleaze, i didn't think of Gaga as part of that scene) I guess we are onto something don't we, that might explain her very early image, her attitude, her early ethos, the behind of many songs on the fame, I need to discuss this with someone please and I you know personally more about this mythic "Mother ****er parties" tell me about it

please don't take this the wrong way, coming from someone who might be as obsessed with fame as early Gaga I just wanna know the missing link from a young aspiring girl to a global pop superstar and this might be it

I watched those too and I don't think I really feel surprised about anything, or her behavior or anything. It was last year or longer when I watched I think? So I can't remember everything very well but I remember thinking I felt really bad for Gaga going thru that relationship (luc) it sounded so bad for her. Honestly it's a miracle she was able to grow out of accepting this toxic type of love and find Michael :fatcat:

It's definitely really interesting to think about how she went from that messy time to a few years later. But she's always been a little messy it's something I love about her :kara:

I think the toxic relationship and the other trauma she had made her more determined to succeed and as well made her want to put on a new different persona, but I also would love to hear more about all the pieces that she pulled together to make "Lady Gaga" and where and when she did it exactly

I should watch those stories again to refresh my memory :diane:

Wasn't there also something about her old dj from Rivington who found out when he got to the Just Dance set that he'd been replaced with Space Cowboy and it got awkward between him and her. I think he wrote a book about the Rivington era and leaked Freakshow

I read the book. I believe he was replaced bc he couldn't consistently be with her, like on tour and such, something like that. He was in the video though.

I think it's interesting but also, at this point, we know what happened to her, why she was a mess and how she proceeded to deal with it. Other than that, I feel, it's generic early 20s mess lol

If you haven't read Brandon (edit: Brendan) the DJ's book, maybe that'll satiate some curiosity (I suggest getting the ebook, search: Gaga, read and promptly refund it).

What I'm more so looking forward to is Gaga possibly going onto Brian Newman and Angie Pontani's podcast about NYC nightlife and life in showbiz. This would be the perfect place to share old stories about late aughts NYC nightlife, the LES and Brooklyn scene etc.

She posted another video where she explains that part, I'm shook cause she literally said she took all those bits and pieces from local famous party people from those Mother ****er parties in NYC and made the Lady Gaga persona and she even shared a documentary about those people, I'm scared to post it here and the wrong people might watch it and want to take it down

And you know what I believe it cause everyone thought her only inspirations when she first came to fame were Madonna and Bowie and even Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani but if these were her really truly only inspirations her act would look too obvious and basic and she would have been downplayed since her very beginning by everyone but she had a certain character that people couldn't explain and attracted us all that is these party people in NY she hung out with that she took to create Lady Gaga

and this might be controversial but really it's a similar story to Madonna who also took from the party queer people from the clubs in NY to make her character and later made it mainstream and become a pop star
