Very curious how it will do

one insider with access to real-time Spotify data said it will fall like a rock:nooo: it reportedly got 4 million streams in 18 hours on the second day.

Ten years later, it's been a decade

Queen, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Peppa Pig, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, George Michael, Spice Girls, Depeche Mode, Teletubbies, Elton John ... all made better music than any American artist.

As a Canadian I don’t have a horse in this race but there’s room for everybody let’s just say that.

MJ, Madonna, Prince, Gaga, name a legend and nine times out of ten they're American :ally:

Jazz, country, rock, blues, r&b, hip-hop, house, electronic, disco, soul, and everything in-between? All us, baby :v:

The UK has The Beatles but even they trace their musical inspiration back to American rock 'n roll :ally:

Music is actually one of the best reasons to have a little pride in American culture tbh. Much of it in black culture specifically.

oh honey... still no still no...

Bowie, Rolling Stones, Elton John, Oasis, Queen, Pink Floyd, Adele, Harry Styles, Spice Girls, Led Zeppelin, George Michael, Amy, Bee Gees, Coldplay and more and more.

Most of the producers of American music are British, French, German, Italian.

You mentions like all the genres US appropriated lol

Jazz :African + European + Caribbean

Blues:  African

Country: African invented and white Americans stole it.

Rock: African and British

R&B: Black American

Soul: Christian, African, European

Hip-hop: Jamaica

Disco: African, LATAM, Europe, Gay ball room.

House: African, Germany, Japan, Europe, gay ball room

Electronic: German, French, Italian and British,

Sneaky Oliver

It was a good debut, definitely better than I expected, I like the song, it’s not as catchy as As It Was though so I don’t think it’ll be a hit on the same scale

Yeah, it doesn't feel like a lead single tbh.

Its an album track promoted beyond its station

Not surprising. Its not radio friendly and its a bit too long to be casual stream friendly.
