But I know the label wasn't keen on funding it. Just sucks that she didn't keep anyone in the loop and then just said "I've moved on". I was hanging out for so long for The Contortionist, Evil, and Nymphology and also to see how she portrayed the 'rebirth' into the new character at the end of Womb. But whatever I guess. Even if the evidence isn’t substantial enough, a “he said she said”type of thing, there will always be something that they’ll cling to in order to validate their hate and dislike for that artist. In their mind, it’s a done deal. However, I think because it’s Melanie Martinez, a female artist some people here like, we can just look past it. Maybe there has been other things that have been proven otherwise regarding this case, but it’s just so weird to me how it’s very selective for certain artists. SA isn't, and it should be handled with more tact than yucking any/everyone with an allegation 'cause even freaking LADY GAGA has allegations of sexual assault thrown at her. Omg that would've been such a great idea! She could've found a really amazing author to help her get out her vision. I'm sure she already had the storyboards for all of the videos planned and probably even drawn out. Actually you know what would've slayed? A visual novel that actually would've been amazing. I believe its actually the opposite. In my own experience, just about everywhere I look (on social media) I see disdain for Melanie (aside from her own fans). Any article, post, etc. she has most definitely had her reputation hurt. Whereas you have artists like Chris Brown who are proven abusers and are thriving. Okay FINE I believe you. I'd just seen a tonne of people online saying the bottles are cheap plastic like a child's toy and the fragrances were basic and didn't last long. I’d much rather artists move into new music than do any kind of visuals or even touring for that matter.
