I loved this movie when I watched it in theaters and it was quite the surprise in the best way. Just never expected it to be nominated in this many categories. Happy for them. 

Wasn’t Emilia Pérez the most nominated ever last year? I’m glad Sinners broke that record because it deserves it more lol.

I've been wanting to watch Sinners for a long time, but just never got around to it. After this, I'm definitely checking it out now!

I watched it when it came out online and I enjoyed it. But I took it as nothing more than a a fun blockbuster type movie. I was never wowed by it or thought this would be a best picture contender. But I was also disappointed by a lot of films that others loved anyways.

Totally makes sense, culturally rich film, beautiful musical sections, brilliant performances, while also being really entertaining. Anyone who thinks this is a simple blockbuster film aren't looking deep enough.

I enjoyed the movie. Michael B Jordan is so hot! And there are two of him!

Theres a music and dance scene that was fantastic.

It is a really great movie + I'm happy that finally a thriller/horror is getting its recognition. The Oscars usually pay them dust.

The movie is overrated. More than half of it takes place at the same setting and same night. I don't know. I felt like it's boring after a while. Random Asian couple was funny too.

Deserved. The score, the acting, the design, the direction. Everything is top notch. The dance scene is life changing and one of the coolest things shot on film in the last decade.
