PartySick 166,165
The artRAVE 'cause she basically rolls her eyes and says "fine, here's Poker Face " and I honestly love that energy for the old songs. Cut it as short as possible (just under 2mins) and get it tf out of the way so you can focus on new and more exciting material. The Mayhem Ball/Chaos shows is the first time she's done something interesting with the performance itself the BTWB's meat grinder is pretty cute too though. 🥀
bim 632
Seeing Poker Face at The Fame Ball is the moment I went from appreciating her as an artist to becoming a full on obsessed psychopath so it holds a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget that moment. The slowed down ‘can’t read my, can’t read my’ with those fist pumps into that SCREAM and dance breakdown of the space cowboy remix. Wildly iconic. I’ve never felt an energy like that come from a human before. God I love her. The one at The Monster Ball 2.0 is a close second for me.

I’ve always thought this too. For being the hit that it is, PF has always had unexpectedly simple performances, with the exception of BTWBall and Mayhem Ball. I’d rank both of those at my top. The PF vocals at the BTWBall were surprisingly weak though.
PornoDanceFight 695
I can’t choose PF at TMB for the electric violin intro + breakdown at the end PF at CBT for the Duneverse staging, lighting, and c*ntiness. PF at MBT for theatrics, staging, and narrative/themes. (but the real best performance is PF acoustic + especially when she gets jazzy with it)
gagzus 17,418
Can I make a controversial yet brave statement? All her live versions of PF are horrid when it’s the album version because the studio track is so auto tuned and monotone when she tries to sing it live it just makes her voice sound weird. Plus it’s like PTSD because it’s the exact voice impressionists used to use for her back in the day. Piano version supremacy when she makes it more like a ragtime almost song. I wish she’d relegate the song to a piano version on tours. I think she should start doing a piano medley version of some of her older hits on tours. This, her energy and vocals at the 2008/early 2009 fame ball pre live band were EVERYTHING after the live band and MTB it was so nasally and weird WTF is MDNA
