It captured that Power Rangers lo-fi look well. - The 911 music video had a cool concept but was excuted poorly. Id say Telephone is actually the best from the era and in the top 3 of her music videos. i still have no clear concept of story for most of her videos except for maybe 3. Fan theories on stories make them more exciting like that one BR plot theory I read on Tumblr in 2012 As far as concepts, visuals, story telling, cultural impact and everything. Telephone and Judas definitely up there more so than even Bad Romance. A very unpopular opinion is probably that Gaga’s not particularly known for or compared to back in the day anyway, amazing music videos. The music and the fashion is always the focus. Look at TEOG video the concept and the execution are awful but the fashion and the song in said video are amazing. I don't think this is an unpopular opinion but it deserves to be said Alejandro is a close second. Absolutely stunning. Every video from the Chromatica era is mid, Rain on Me being the best one 911 is a good concept but it's overrated. It’s basically the director's concept and the fact that it’s a pastiche of an existing movie that has no relation to Gaga dilutes the message of using art to escape trauma. I do appreciate that it's the video that made her feel creative again but in an alternate reality it could have been a lot more "her" (that could be said about Chromatica as a whole. Still good, just missing the Gaga flair) The Joanne videos being connected was actually a cute idea. Very vibrant, cool and fun video that represents song, album and whole 90s cyber futurism vibe very well. - Disease mv is one of her best videos. It's simple, but very effective. Hearst Castle is a stunning location, but what she chose to do with it was a tacky, confused mess of different ideas and aesthetics. Some parts were great and she looked STUNNING throughout, but the whole thing just doesn't come together. It's like she knew this was her last chance to do an ARTPOP visual so she just crammed all her different ideas into one blender. It's total overkill. Gaga and Parris did a decent job, but I strongly believe it would've looked even more impressive if the likes of Stephen Klien had directed it, since it's very Stephen Klien coded.
