ImMatt 1,927 Posted January 15 Share Posted January 15 Knowing how much of a David Bowie fan Gaga is, I can see her attempting her own 'Berlin Trilogy' style of albums with MAYHEM being the first. If she truly is as inspired creativity as she says, then maybe the TOTAL MAYHEM rumour might merge into a second part of MAYHEM which ends up being LG8 anyway. MAYHEM has been so perfect so far and I love how much she wants to grow these songs (from Coachella, to the tour, to Requiem), so seeing her progress and move forwards is so exciting. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mayhem leaning more to pop, disco, funk, industrial. 2. Total Mayhem - The full industrial, rock, grunge EP/album. As she felt she wasn’t done with those sounds ( she referenced PC with this) Also the music in her TikTok she has used might be a clue… also if Beyonce is doing rock, maybe telephone part 2 will be there or on Gagas. 3. I mean he’s kinda right, she often just spits the retro with MAYHEM whereas it’s mostly diluted with modern/futuristic sounds in her other albums; at least 90% of the MAYHEM songs could’ve been released 40 years ago just as they are. I think she just made a show with A unique aesthetic and direction for last minute Grammy’s promo and the album is billed as very macabre and gothic so there you go. If anything I feel like this is indicative of things to come ala total mayhem rather than book closing on the era totally. Best case scenario we get a deluxe with two new tracks or an EP. There is still so much to unpack with MAYHEM.
