I need a remix album featuring edm people and not other pop stars :partysick:

I would love to see her collaborate with Sara Landry and John Summit (he’s praised her recently and his stage for his show in Colorado looked really similar to the CBT stage).

I’d say LG8 is my priority right now if she’s working on it to come out at the end of 2026 or early next year. I trust whatever vision she has right now and I’m sure that another album with Cirkut and Watt would be like taking it to the next level.

Mayhem Deluxe or Total Mayhem would be nice too it she still has some strong music she wants to release that she did with the team and if it’s part of the album cycle then I’m here for it too.

So Total Mayhem could be LG8 too if it’s like The Fame Monster but if she wants to completely move on from that theme and she has fresh new ideas for a brand new concept and a 10-12 track album I know she could do something amazing whether she keeps the same team or works with new producers.

Whatever she does next I hope to god she keeps making real music and stays away from the electronic nonsense.

I love ARTPOP and Chromatica exists but she shines so bright when she has real instruments and non-clinical structure behind her voice. Idc if it's a dozen more disco sounding tracks, ANYTHING other than house music :kry:

Idk, I'd personally love for her to explore a type of ARTPOP 2.0 with Andrew Watt and Cirkut (but yes incorporate live instruments in with the digital music that would be insane)!

Also electronic nonsense :saladga: .... most of her best songs are purely electronic what you smoking? (But yes, I'd like genres more exciting and intricate than typical house music going forwards).

I can’t believe you had to audacity to call me elderly when you’re pulling the geriatric “electronic music isn’t real music” card 🪦

Idc idc! She's spoiled us with analog music for several albums now (barring Chromatiyuck) so I need her to stick to that :anveeroy:

Idc what the genre is, I just refuse to be here for another album that fell out of a sample folder like Chromatica or ARTPOP (which I, admittedly, love).

If it's in line with the way her two jazz albums, Joanne, Harlequin, and Mayhem were produced, I'll be here for it :flower:

If it's ARTPOP or Chromatica 2.0, she can keep it :nails:

I mean, TFM is basically 90s industrial eurodance meets 80s synth pop and BTW is 70s-80s glam arena rock + 90s industrial eurodance. ARTPOP also pulls heavily from disco, 70s-80s glam rock, early y2k pop, 80s synth RNB, but probably her most “current sounding” record in terms of genre references. But if you mean that, even if they pull heavily from retro influences, they’re done in a way that doesn’t feel as much like a retro genre study, I see what you mean, but I guess that doesn’t bother me as much because I see it as being such a huge part of her musical DNA either way.

To me, the difference is that TFM, BTW and ARTPOP created something that sounds more original in comparison to the genres and eras they pull influence from: it's more mixed and nuanced. Whereas her most recent work: Chromatica and half of MAYHEM sound like they're trying to live in those eras rather than pull from them. Of course some people enjoy it and I'm glad that you're down with it but I'm personally not a fan and feel like it's been enough and it's time to visit new territory.

Glad I helped you find some new music to enjoy! Are you normally into EDM or starting to explore that scene?

always have been! i just switched streaming services so i'm just rebuilding my library. i tend to go for more housey/trappy/electro but i like harder music when it's vulgar or raunchy :v:

Being at the show, if Mayhem Requiem is her testing the waters on how fans will receive a rock era, I hope LG8 is her true rock era. I’d love a true goth rock, dark wave, industrial era with the Gaga flair. I don’t think she needs to appeal to the clubs gays anymore.
