Now before y’all start asking where I found this from it was posted on a discord server that I’m in and apparently it’s from Pop Justice so if y’all wanna do extra research, you’re more than welcome to do so
But…

ARE YOU JOKING RN

This post almost seems expertly designed to appeal to my wishes and dreams.

I remain skeptical, with great sadness.

I hope this is true cause I want to hear those arrangements so bad, but I will f*cking dread all the potential posts and threads about it..."Gaga should've made MAYHEM like this," "MAYHEM should've been industrial," "F*ck Michael for making her change the direction of the album," etc., etc., etc.

We'll finally know if this fanbase is really ready for Gaga to do something not mainstream at all... I kinda know the answer but I'll love the result if she really does this

Even if it'll spark dumb comments, it's smart of her to perform grunge/rock/industrial arrangements, it's a great way of giving the fans what they wanted. IF it's happening.

A new song announcement or snippet at the end would eat though tbh

Industrial arrangement Mayhem Special.

Then at close, Trent Reznor is on stage and Gaga closes with her new single from Total Mayhem.

Yes, and for some artists it took more than a year.

Björk - recorded: September 2023 / released: January 2025.

SZA - recorded: October 2023 / released: January 2024. On the other hand…

Gracie Abrams - recorded: August 2025 / released: October 2025.

Billie Eilish - recorded: June 2022 / released: September 2022.

There doesn't seem to be a pattern, but I think it's safe to say we'll have to wait at least a few months.

This better not be the case... They need max a month to edit it and release a polished TV special. They can do it in a week or 2 if they want but I hope we don't have to wait that much :air:

The fanbase is all talk and no show :laughga: They think Killah is too weird, so they for sure aren't ready for Gaga to really go full throttle with other genres besides pop. Which, btw, she'll never do. Gaga has always been, and will always be, pop + something else. She's been influenced by many different artists and genres, but at the end of the day, all her music is pop.

I breathe a sigh of relief every time one of my GGD sistren knows literally anything about music. Needless to say I’m holding my breath a lot.

I think it depends on what they have in mind for this. For example, Björk's Apple Music Live had a concert film and a live album. And Apple Music often releases related content such as EPs or exclusive audio tracks. I’m not expecting to watch the show anytime soon tbh but I’d be happy to be proven wrong

EDIT: I just checked and Gracie Abrams’ Apple Music Live event was both a concert and a live album and it was released two months after recording. So there’s really no way of knowing :kry:

Not to ruin everybody's fun but I've read that it's very likely to be released several months from now, so don't expect too much

I'm 50/50 on it being released within the month or after the tour ends in April.

Historically at least, Apple Music have always wanted these out asap to pull people onto the platform.

1 month more or less imho

Swine Fest + Apple Music was filmed on September 1st 2013 in London, UK and released on November 6 2015, to coincide with ARTPOP release. IIRC also the first ever Apple Music live series.

If there's going to be new MAYHEM continuation album, it will likely follow the same pattern, it will release the same day as the album.

When will it start?

7pm PT (but it won’t be live-streamed, just taped for future release)
