I think it's clear that she/her team saw how successful that special was and how much fans enjoyed it and wanted to put on a similar show for MAYHEM. We know this isn't for Grammys voting because the deadline for that already passed. So while I guess it's feasible that she could record part of this and use it for her Grammys performance, I think she simply wants to put on this show just for fun and for the fans. I'm not expecting new music with this, so it doesn't surprise me that MindTrappa confirmed that there's no new music attached to this.
