However, I would add that the Wrecking Ball video DID get some backlash in the media for showing unnecessary nudity and sexualization I remember that video being HATED and criticized ruthlessly! So many of my friends at the time even were calling her a slut or things like that. Not sure if that had anything to do with the work with Richardson, but she definitely got her fair share of backlash 2

Big Difference.
VTV 13,325
It was all targeted hate against Gaga and as for Terry, he was supposed to be canceled a long time ago but wasn't. I hope the tapes he had we're still alive cuz maam its a lost piece of HISTORY!

I never heard anything about Tara convincing her, although I could be wrong. DWUW solo will always be the superior version we were robbed of You know what? I always remembered her telling the story that they were in the studio, R Kelly happened to be recording as well, and Tara grabbed Gaga and told her she has to go ask him to be on the song and so she did. But unless I comb through every ARTPOP interview I won't be able to confirm if that's true or I dreamt it even then it might've been deleted in the great DWUW ft R Kelly scrub of the internet Bu yes imo the solo version was always the best. I like the Christina version, but the lyrics of the second verse are so much more impactful coming from Gaga herself considering her hip injury and how she pushed through to keep performing I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
