I feel like she was nervous and tired during the first weekend so a few parts weren't as powerful as it could've been. Still appreciate some parts (the intro was pretty good) and the fact that she included some deep cuts (which we will probably never get to see her perform again) Edit: in my head it's like this: Coachella 2017 was Gaga adapting to the desert vibe festival and Coachella 2025 was Gaga being Gaga, giving 0 ****s about what Coachella normally is. Omegahedron 243 Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 Apart from the obvious last minute nature of the appointment, really worth giving weight to: 1) This was during a period where she was actively veering away from characters, costumes and and overtime performance art, which is at odds with what you might expect from her. 2) Actually, it's striking that this came before a lot of the hits which now define her career (if it feels like it's missing something ...)
