For many of us, our human rights have been gradually stripped away since 2016 For trans people things have gotten worse and worse, our community is suffering and now so many trans people just lost healthcare coverage. Everybody's always fighting over us and we are just living our lives as regular people in communities like what is going on? They clearly haven't talked to any trans person because they have painted a picture of us that is not based in reality. Oh wait, that's the point. They don't care to listen because we are a useful group of people to demonize. Our numbers are relatively small, and most of us flee conservative areas. And now they point at sanctuary cities like they are harboring some sort of dangerous group of people. Meanwhile they have just been making it harder and harder for us to get the support, not just medical, but like... community support. It is so painful how they have chosen to turn our families and communities away from us, leave us alone without medical care, lowest job acceptance rates, many ending up incarcerated or homeless (there are dispraportionately larger numbers of trans people in both incarcerated and homeless populations than in the general population). In many states mmy community face social persecution, targetted by law, cut off from large parts of community, not allowed to seek healthcare. It's really really fukked up right now.
