Honestly I always used to roll my eyes at this quote and I had never seen the clip until today LOL but it sounds more like she was lamenting feeling like she can't get away doing more "basic" pop stuff because the other girls elevate their basic pop songs with their style in a more effortless way...?

Like she's essentially saying they can pull anything off and it'll be great because they're pop divas and it's going to be a banger simply because they're great at what they do.

ha! as much as most of these songs are legendary, i can't stand them anymore. it would require a special occasion for me to get through What's my name, only girl, man down, CKB.

only girl & s&m (esp. ft. britney one) are timeless... but god do i require a lot of effort to not skip them on autoplay.
