Lemon Blood 363 Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM (edited) Just now, Lemon Blood said: Ok yes MAYHEM and Born This Way are her best produced albums but Chromatica is definitely not her worst. Bloodpop gets too much hate on his production. I like the dystopian vibe of Chromatica, my only issue is that there isn’t enough low frequency on the kick drums causing them to sound too soft I just accidentally quoted myself Edited yesterday at 02:40 AM by Lemon Blood

Ziggy 12,419 Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM KFL is an MJ nacho that’s cute but eh. Not that necessary whereas enigma is a highlight of its album

Not saying it’s her worst produced bc I think it’s technically well done just kinda boring and forgettable when you hear the playlist she said they listened to to inspire them. It’s confusing dissonance

I would listen to them while trying to sleep, they’re gorgeous 😍

I think my tastes tend to lean a bit more on the industrial side so while gorgeous just wasn’t totally my jive (though I like 911, enigma and replay a lot!)

Sneaky Oliver 22,503 Posted yesterday at 11:49 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:49 AM It’s funny how Enigma has this vibe and sound I’ve always wanted Gaga to make and I loved it when it came out but it’s not a track I revisit that much, I think the lyrics are hard for me to relate or it’s not connected to a certain feeling like what am I supposed to feel when I listen to it? And then it had a kind of a lackluster performance on the tour… usually many songs grow on me when she performs them I wish she would perform it right after Babylon and keep the voguing elements in the choreo, that would be fantastic

KFL, on the other hand, is a smash. This! I always remember that mashup someone made with Enigma and a Dua song (I think Hallucinate), and that production elevated the Enigma vocals so much. I wish the beat was a little more complex and punchier.
