AVeryGagaHolyDick 27,864 Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 It did great but at the same time it deserved so much better… Actually I find it quite strange that it’s on an album like MAYHEM. The album’s really great but to me, the first three (or four) tracks sound grand and strong, while most of the rest of the album sounds much more little/shy/vulnerable, whether it’s sonically or lyrically (or both). No other artist has been able to replicate that success, solo or as a collab, so of course nothing she releases is going to match that songs success. At least Debra had a full stable run and ended up fairly high on the 2025 Hot 100 Year-End list for a song that barely entered the top 20.
