PC's achilles heel is that the words perfect and celebrity are not good musical words, they're a bit clunky, just don't lend themselves to being sung.

HBDYWM, as has been well documented, sounds like a Taylor Swift song, except of course that it doesn't really because it's Gaga who's doing the singing and the song is therefore full of life and verve, as opposed to sounding like the musical equivalent of boiled rice.

BOG has some good moments but it kinda drags a bit as well,

DWAS, KFL, CSTH and the DD have not been included in this evaluation as none of them are really on the album. 

   

The concept of Perfect Celebrity being bottom 3 and DWAS, KFL, CSTH, and TDD “not being on the album.” The good sis MOT OD’d on the poppers before posting this, I fear

But I’m willing to amend my original statement & say that The Beast & Blade of Grass are the album’s clear "bottom 2"

….while Killah & LoveDrug are arguably 2 of the album’s most “polarizing” tracks ⚔️

Even if that were true, the fanbase’s viewpoint has clearly changed (as evidenced by the responses to this thread). 
 

That being said, there’s nothing quite like the way GGD gets me to come for songs I enjoy to defend the honor of songs I love ⚔️

I mean the latter part of lovedrug’s chorus even follows hall & Oates so I feel you. It’s a song that is great and were it a cover we’d say it’s fabulous but it isn’t really a Gaga song. She could have written this for someone, basically is what I mean. Great song, though

I could never explain the hate for such a great song. I guess the only explanation is that some people are very dumb and don't have good taste. No offense if this is you, it's not you fault. But if you don't like the song... I've said what I said.
