I used to play in jazz bands, but my appreciation to jazz limited just to instrumentals and seems to stop at playing it. I don't really consume jazz music.

It's a pleasant genre, but it's more background music than an active listening experience.. unless it's a live show with young talent. But yet I don't see myself actively searching it out.
