I am far more afraid of human intelligence than of AI 

AI is simply giving us what we ask for. It is, in many ways, the most generous and human-centered technology we have ever created. It does not generate anything on its own; it reflects human will, intention, and values. The next step in human evolution will likely be combined intelligence, human and artificial working together. And this will profoundly shape the future of art, creativity, and expression. We are curious monkeys by nature; learning through PLAY is how we evolve. 

Instead of investing energy in resisting or restricting what we don’t fully understand, we could channel that concern into integration: take a course on AI, explore real innovations already made possible by it, or simply try a prompt that makes a daily task easier.

Don’t blame the technology. Blame the humans behind its misuse and better yet, try to create something meaningful and constructive with it. Progress has always belonged to those who choose curiosity over fear.

Im totally for AI to be used in practical ways as a tool where it can actually improve a system, but it should be far away from human creative agency and human imagination altogether. 

Needing something external and artificial to give you what you ask for all the time, sounds like a really empty and endless road to me.

Its really at complete odds with what being creative actually means.

Perhaps my perspective is influenced by a European bias: in Europe, regulation has traditionally been more protective of citizens, requiring companies and corporations to adapt to the law—not the other way around.

We’ve crossed the point of no return. The choice now is whether we invest in learning, research, and ethical regulation—or remain stuck calling for bans while the world moves forward.
