Honestly such a serve. It just popped into my head while I was thinking of my favorite Gaga songs and then I realized it was Katy 

Do you think it would’ve been a good Gaga cut? I feel like it would’ve fit perfectly on The Fame Monster.

i really don't like katy's voice on this, and the lyrics barely work with the melody

if gaga recorded it in 2009 it would probably be my least favourite song by her in that era

I once read the theory that the song is sung from the perspective of someone who wants their partner to infect them with HIV and now every time the song comes up I can't help but remember that specially on the chorus

That fits way too well omg. It's like upbeat Ptolemaea by Ethel Cain but it's even more depraved because she's romanticizing all of it.
