Cher has been a constant in my life & family and I love her so DON'T COME FOR ME, but I am astounded by how bad this lip sync job was

And she can actually sing!!! I don't get why 1. she lipped it, and 2. it was such a sloppy job. 

Regardless, it was so nice to see her on the show. I love her so much

Cher alwyas lip syncs songs with heavy autotune. Even during her tours, most of 'believe' is lip synced. But she sings live most of the other songs, and even if during the latest tour her voice wasnt what it used to be, songs like If I Could Turn Back Time, Just Like Jesse James and Heart of Stone still sound amazing live

When its concerts (not live tv) I know she supposibly does sing many of her songs live...

 

But I can totally see her selecting random nights at random when shes feeling lazy not to do them live... or if shes feeling off or voice strained shed just lipsync and call it a day as a solution

 

I dunno, she just has that idgaf attitude where shed totally do that if singing live that night was a bother or inconvinience . （but she also wouldnt lie about it if asked nor would she try overly hard to try to hide it either if she did)

 

ill never forget also when she went to Ellen with her mom and between her mom being very old and maybe Cher also not being in a mood for setting up a major performance but maybe feeling pressured ppl expected her to sing something... she did some super simple thing in the corner of the room you can barely call a performance and totally unrehearsed and on top of that was clearly lip synced (badly) and called it a day  I was dead in disbelief of what i was whatching but it was so funny, only Cher could pull off something that lazy (and arguably terrible) and still have it come across as a cute adorable somehow especially cuz u know there wad literally 0 effort in it
