I would not be surprised if she scrapped Total Mayhem to just release a new body of work at the end of tour. But I also feel like she likes these little drops of music randomly. We're really in our Ariana Sweetener/Thank U Next/live album/singles/Positions within 3 years era.

Imagine Gaga is making a true fan album and knows she's going to be gone on an extended hiatus so she wants to feed the fans and say thank you for sticking by her all these years as she takes a pause to start a family with Michael...even if she wanted to get right back into it ASAP it's still 2 years minimum 

She already performed Brooklyn Nights (technically an unreleased song). She teased she considered Frankenstein for MAYHEM and discussed IF SHE EVER released ACT II...it would be totally different. Maybe that was her hint all along that she's going back to her vault and giving the fans what they've wanted all these years. It would be TOTAL MAYHEM if she finally remastered and polished and finished unreleased music like Frankenstein, TEA, Princess Die, Brooklyn Nights, etc by reworking them they essentially became different songs so maybe she found a loophole to release them???
