It feels like it’s over just as it starts to get moving. Needs a bridge, guitar solo, or extended outro. So this is what I’ve been feeling.

SevenWonder 4,504
I think it's my most listened to song after Garden of Eden. I absolutely love it and have since the first listen. But it's a bit safe and doesn't sound as "Gaga" as the first half of the album. That said, it's my go to track when I have to start a long drive. It sets the mood perfectly. SidewalkUnicorn 116
When the first reviews came in people felt it was a little generic, but it’s been my impression that it’s grew on a lot of people quickly and that’s why it was added in to the Mayhem Ball from not being in promotional. i always liked it. It reminds me a little of like an Irene Cara 80s type song. Also the verses have some of the best lyrics on the album. skaxboy 6,086
I love it. My 3rd most listened to song of the year and 2nd most heard song from the album. It reminds me of Electric Chapel. I went to the first SF show and didn’t know the setlist additions and went crazy when the song began. I went to 4 total Mayhem shows (so far) and people treated it as a sit down song. popkulture 391
Here's the tea. The song is pretty generic as a theme, production, and structure. How many songs exist comparing love to being a drug? Here's a few: -Your Love is My Drug (Kesha) -Love is the Drug (Roxy Music) -and many more you can Google and find on Reddit or published on places like Rolling Stone The performance of this song on the Mayhem Ball made me appreciate it more but as a song itself, it's pretty basic. There's nothing interesting about it. It's not a bad song, but not special by any means.
LUST FOR GAGA 39
its actually overrated. it needed a bridge or something idk
bowlsofbrett 560
It’s a banger for me! I love those 80s synths and her vocals on it! 1
meltedplastic 582
LoveDrug is my fave off that album. It's got that 1980s adult contemporary rock sound that I've been wanting her to get into for ages. I think the lyricism in the verses are some of her best.. Awrah999 4,429
It’s top 5 on Mayhem and top 15 all time Gaga song for me. It does seem underrated because it’s not as in your face and maybe instantly catchy as some other tracks, but I would argue it’s insanely beautiful, her vocals are soft and so expressive, and her use of falsetto/staccato is perfection. It is deceptively catchy and has a warm, emotive feeling that makes it unique in the album. I feel like it’s the more subdued and evolved version of Diamond Heart and I absolutely love it
VentiGago 28
For me it's almost as good as Don't call tonight. They're not so popular as other Mayhem songs but I don't think anyone thinks they're bad
