LMs ain’t beating the culturally illiterate accusations anytime soon, I fear Just like our grandkids (well not ours cause we’re gay ) won’t know about many of our childhood songs and it’s as fine as normal
Oriane 21,552
As someone who's primarily drawn by strong melodies, and this being the reason why I'm into Gaga, I find it interesting that many of the songs/artists she cites (not just here) are more interesting in terms of style, production etc. The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! 7

You don’t need an encyclopedic knowledge of music or music history to talk music, but I think a self-aware + realistic appraisal of the scope of your frame of reference would be nice lmao. (Just something I’ve noticed about pop stans specifically, tbh lol) Edited 17 hours ago by Ladle Ghoulash We have forgotten our public MANNERS 6

I think they were more like saying the interview wasn’t too interesting to them cause they’ve never heard of the songs. It’s just my understanding though, I could be wrong Not speaking about the person who said “stop lying” or whatever, I have no clue what they were even trying to express lmaooo

BadKid58 187
It's so cool to see her go over those songs and influences. She's the one who introduced me to some of them when I was a teenager who finally had access to internet. Like Bruce Springsteen and Beck I also love what she said about change. I really hope we get something competely out of left field in the next few years. Just imagining what she could do if she left some of the pop music restrictions behind even for just one project.
Nite 5,756
Love the songs she picked. I saw Springsteen live a while ago and it was amazing. She's so genuinely enthusiastic about music, that's so lovely to see. I had to think back to her performances of What A Difference A Day Makes and it's really not surprising she loves to sing jazz so much.
