Something about it makes it feel like I'm listening to the whole album, and then there's Applause as an addition. I enjoy it, but I'm not crazy about it, and it feels kinda out of place. Agreed in a way? I guess that's why the label pushed it as a single and Gaga tried to fight for Aura til last minute Back to topic, I don't consider it to be underrated. The love for it has grown within the fan base. Even the GP to some extent but definitely more appreciation now from the fans. With any artist the GP generally are only going to remember a handful of the major hits & that's that. Take Michael for example, the GP immediately think of Thriller, Beat it, Smooth criminal, etc & a lot of his other work which deserves the same level of appreciation will never get it. Applause is my personal favourite Gaga song. A powerhouse of electric energy from start to finish. Maybe in time it'll climb the rankings but for now I'd say it's underrated.
