Hearing about the shooting at Bondi Beach is incredibly distressing. My thoughts are with everyone who was there on a Sunday afternoon simply spending time with family and friends. Beyond the immediate tragedy, it’s deeply concerning to consider the political fallout — this will likely inflame tensions further and could end up strengthening voices like Pauline Hanson’s. 

EDIT: 16 confirmed dead, very sad and dark day for Australia. 

Bystander rushed one of the shooters and disarmed them.

I was there, barely 20 meters away in a supermarket. Ran for my life. There was so much shooting happening. Easily the scariest thing I have ever experienced. And that happened a day after one of the most happy days in my life seeing Gaga both Friday and Saturday.

I think its been over 25 years.. such a tragic situation. I at least have more faith in the AUS government than the US  to take steps to prevent this from ever happening again. My soul is incredibly sad today for the Australian people and my love is going to everyone affected by this horrible incident
