I feel bad, I remember at first I didnt realize she was trans (I knew nothing about her at the time and thought she was cis female) and i was criticizing the sh*t out of her voice in a performance of coconuts and i even made a thread on how awful I thought the vocals on that performance were

 

Then everyone called me transphobic and I was like, wait shes trans? 🫣😳

 

A bit off topic but a bit of a funny story now. But teaches u to pay attention and think before u post

But because its a trans voice, ppl probably thought I was hating on her voice because its a trans voice as a prejudice against trans

 

But her voice sounding like she does makes so much more sense knowing shes trans. I literally just didnt know

what do u mean? how did it sound? i think her voice sounds like a any regular woman, she transitioned as a minor and didn't went through male puberty, her bad technique isn't because she's trans haha

The mic is a little overloaded, but her breath control is also pretty bad here. Not a terrible singer, but only a couple notches better than KP.

She is the first out trans woman to have significant hits (even just as feature on Unholy).

So inspring.

Then she releases an album with Dr. Luke and I'm like  girl gtfo

This post makes me happy though, I think there is hope for her, at least I have hope for her. It would be so nice to have significant representation in pop music
