Gaga is one of the more sophisticated main pop girls-- but she is pop, and that sometimes brings people who have underdeveloped and/or immature taste. princedeeblebleble 2,315
Most of the fanbase complaining instead of supporting the song because it didn't meet y'alls higher than life standards. Like Taylor released the most boring album in history but her fans promoted, bought and supported it like it was the second coming of Jesus. Learn from that and she'll be #1 :p
Shadownight 153
I've heard the dead dance on the radio loads in the uk and it was played during my office Christmas party. People eat it up here
TheARTPOPball 939
It’s simply just not a great chorus imo and I don’t see myself revisiting it ever. The concept of the video was fun and I loved the creepy doll vibes but I’d rather her have used that concept along with other shots and did a video for zombie boy or literally almost any other song on the album tbh. TheSine 6,305
I actually loved it and the concept, but the instrumental doesn't spark much excitement for me to listen to it again. I'd rather hear it live or not at all. 💛
elsamars 4,591
The only problem is that it flopped. LMs hate songs thar are flops and worship songs that are hits. That's why AbraMIDabra is so popular among the fanbase. Simple as that. Edited Saturday at 09:56 PM by elsamars 1

Learn from that and she'll be #1 :p It's truly a terrible example though. A self-obsessed artist who is very much focused on charts & numbers instead of focusing on making good music, and a brainwashed fanbase that mindlessly pours money into all of Taylor's money-hungry moves.... Like, forcing yourself to stream or buy a song that you don't like is truly not a flex. I'll take a good song over a #1 song anytime
Gagaplayer315 14,326
The chorus sucks and Tim Burton made a horrible music video

JoanneMonster 9,042 Posted yesterday at 12:14 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:14 AM I think the main issue is the video tbh. the song is fine but what would have sold it to me would have been a music video. there was a lot of hype around it being filmed in mexico and directed by tim burton but it ended up being kinda boring, tim and gaga together could have been something waaay cooler I See You

VIY should have been a fall single for adult contemporary fans, becoming her ARUTW 2.0. I do believe they should’ve pushed an other song right after Copacabana, but there’s nearly no way the song would’ve gone top 10 world wide, let alone in the US Edited yesterday at 02:43 AM by AVeryGagaHolyDick

Absolutely not lmao The fans loved Abracadabra before it was even released. They love Disease too. DWAS is her biggest hit ever and yet it’s the most divisive single out of the three. Abracadabra was LITERALLY loved by fans, critics, and the public alike the moment it was released. Thats why it became a hit. It’s her most beloved PopGaga song since Applause for a reason Rain On Me and Million Reasons were hits too and the fanbase certainly doesn’t universally love those lol Edited yesterday at 04:38 AM by TEANUS British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
