The acid techno elements? The sledgehammering atonal synths in the post-chorus? Like yeah, it’s campy, but I’d actually say it’s a song that balances the ratio of camp to sincerity better than Scheisse (and I love Scheisse down, but I just think Abra is more effective, catchy, melodically interesting etc). Usually I'll go HARD on a song I like and then slowly my brain tires of it until it gives me all the dopamine it can give and I'll like it less than when it debuted. Not the case with Abra - instead of me slowly liking it less and less the opposite has happened. I love it more today than I did when it first came out. It's such an incredible song and has become my all time favorite Gaga song over the course of the year.
