Taylor was infamously politically ambiguous for years really until Lover era, then went on the biggest tour of all time in some of the most conservative places in the country and couldn’t make ONE (1) statement about LGBTQ+, reproductive rights, etc.

ok but trump and TS have fought numerous times and they still use her stuff. Olivia Rodrigo is very clearly ANTI TRUMP and they still used her music. I'm guessing Sabrina Carpenter was also pretty anti trump like many of these gen z pop stars and still they used her music. I think they just don't use Gaga's music because they don't like it for some reason (too gay maybe?), rather than because she's Pro Biden. Didn't they also try to use Beyoncé's Freedom at some point?
