taylor is someone who has a very serious legal time that takes copyright violations seriously

the point being made here is her team was more than happy to sue anyone in the past but has weirdly allowed trump propaganda to use her content freely

This is typical behavior from someone like Taylor Swift and even more expected now that she's in her "dating the football star" phase. Taylor doesn't care about a thing outside of what directly impacts herself or the narrative she wants to spin. She's not right wing, just very selfish.

Thanks. Gaga’s silence on what trump has done to the trans community is ****ing sickening and her silence on a genocide which puts her on the wrong side of history now sadly. If only she could be brave like Ariana… she will be remembered for her silence on it, that’s the reality.

Before worrying about singers acting like politicians and going out to speak, you should worry about having GOOD POLITICIANS, who are paid a salary for a reason. You should demand that they take action, that they do something. Not a singer (and I'm not just referring to Gaga), when all you do is point the finger to see which side they're on or what they think about something. The world is and will continue to be a mess, period. But that's the job of politicians and the measures they take.

The only people who are going to remember who has spoken out in support of different issues or not is the super fans. Most people don't take any notice, it's not on their radar. 

I personally don't think mind if celebrities speak up or not. It's not their job. It's a bonus if they try and help in some way.

There's a difference between speaking out and just issuing a cease & desist about your music being used in state propaganda. 

But also - countless celebrities have been political activists in their lifetime and it has been a defining part of their legacy and fame.

Edit- nevermind, my brain isn't fuctioning fully today lol. But I agree it has been a big part of some celebrities lives and part of their legacy. I just don't think many people in general remember who has kept quiet on issues.
