Why Is There Annual Discourse By Apple Music Subscribers When Wrapped Out?

Spotify is catered towards casual music listeners who “discover” music through their AI algorithms and just listen to a bunch of playlists force fed to its app users. They push this further with wrapped, where flops from high school can show off they have the same crappy basic music taste.

Apple Music is catered towards a more sophisticated PRO sexy, casual, educated and gorgeous music listener who’s body is also tea. Audio quality is higher with a focus more on the artist and their albums. The user experience is clean and much more organic.

I had said I wish AM’s wrapped was more like Spotify. But it’s not worth it. You and a friend play Disease on two iPhones, one using AM and the other on Spotify and tell me you don’t hear a clear difference. I just feel like Spotify is like listening to music through a cotton ball. 
 

but yeah, y’all have fun with Spotify Wrapped and I am jealous.

If that's the case, what was the reason some of y'all acting like some music streaming's Jehovah Witnesses on any Spotify Wrapped posts, not limited to this cult site but also across social media? Just trying to understand

I've very recently switched from Spotify after getting a free trial when I bought my iPad (and I was sick to death of the spotify app getting worse and worse just as they kept raising their prices) and the AM hype is justified  

I didn't think the audio difference would be that noticeable since my headphones aren't anything special, but Spotify literally sounds like listening to music underwater by comparison

The audio quality argument is funny to me only because y’all are over there listening to fake lossless via Bluetooth (which can’t handle true lossless), while I’m over here streaming native lossless via Spotify Connect on my Sonos Beam. We are not the same.

So technical wonkiness about Bluetooth/AirPlay automatically compressing it (thus it not really being lossless) aside, yes, I have. IMO, AM’s codec sounds flat and I honestly think a lot of their digital masters sound bad. I considered switching for lossless a few years, but I honestly wasn’t totally sold on their version of it.
