I think people kind of forget that pop culture is basically pluralistic atp. Diet Pepsi is a singular hit that's shown no sign of repeatability. And like I couldn't even tell you what Diet Pepsi sounds like so its not cut through into casual audiences. So the idea Madonna is jumping on something trendy sounds laughable at the moment. Its not on the same level as her jumping on Britney, Timberland, EDM & Avicii when she was truly trend hopping.
