I actually really liked it. Way better than the rest of the season.

I got emotional at several parts.

The people who needed to die, died. 

The ones who rightfully deserved to make it to the end, did. 

I don't know why people are so hung up that the body count was low. Did no one like ANYONE? Why do you wanna see beloved characters kick the bucket?? 

The Duffer Brothers said specifically this was no Game of Thrones and that they're going to spend 40 minutes closing out the story. I loved it. It absolutely made up for the trash of Part 2. I'm happy to see it end the way it did.

Wish there was a theater closer than 60 miles to me that was playing it, I would have liked that a lot lol

Wasnt there supposed to be a tease of a spin off in the last episode? Is it Hopper going to Montauk? Or maybe the new kids sitting at the DnD table? Or maybe I read some BS lol

They stuck the landing, the final episode redeemed this mess of a season. It wasn't perfect, but it was an epic and emotional send off.

Ending was ok and nice, I liked it. I thought more big characters would die but don’t think we needed that to happen this time just for shock value, there had been a lot of painful deaths every season. 

I just had a feeling Hopper or Eleven would die to save the group and I just knew big chances were Eleven and her sister would die just to put an end to all of it. 

I liked Mike’s theory and I guess as fans it’s a nice way to think she’s out there. It’s either that or his way to cope with her death. But it leaves an open ending in case they do a revival show in 10-15 years. 

I need to do a rewatch from start. I’ve only seen each season once on their respective years.

It's definitely a perfect ending. 

Some people had a very strange idea of how the series was going to play out. Even with them in high school, it was never going to turn into a hard-R-rated bloody thing with a massive body count and a downer ending. The need for something to go dark and depressing at the end for it to be a great entertainment on every shows and movies is overrated.

The way it ended stayed true to what it always was, a coming of age story, and everyone living out their aspirations after such turbulent time in their youth are very inspiring. The series solved the conflict. And give everyone closures. Hence, it's a perfect ending.

I truely dont understand how anyone could find that ending "perfect". The writing was absoltuly mediocre, and you sont even need to be an expert of TV series writing to notice that. So many question left unanswered, so many inconcistencies, way too easy, the vilain was weak af and the whole identity that made stranger things is completly gone, now it just turned some marvel cosplay and the action scenes weren't even that good bc everything was so godamn predictable.

And the fact that 15 years old on the internet came up with better ending ideas than this is just so embarassing. Netflix truely wasted 400 millions of dollars, how sad for such an iconic TV show.

It was a fine ending imo. I think they largely handled the explanation for vecna and the mind flayer well but the rest was kinda eh. No one knows how to ride the brakes of a plot like these two. This whole season realistically could have been 4ish really tight episodes and the military sub plot was basically only there to stop things from moving so quickly. Partner pointed out that the director literally only would walk out of cars, identify what she was looking at and say that and then it would cut to the next scene lmao we also didn’t really need an *hour* of epilogue. That was excessive lol I think they’re just very obsessed with the idea of making things movie scale and big and don’t always take a hard look at whether they need to be doing that or not.

I really enjoyed it! I felt like the final season got off to a bit of a meh start but it had some great moments and that final episode had me hooked, I found the ending satisfying.
