I feel so blessed that I got to see this show twice - from a little afar and up close at the barricade. It’s like the best thing I’ve seen idk. 10s across the board. Forever grateful

a few people in this thread are tasteless (including OP) and should be shamed. idgaf. it is literally a masterpiece of a live show, the critics all agree on that, so does the GP, even the OGHs. How some of you are even capable of calling it boring/underwhelming is beyond me. "Opinions are diverse and varied and everyone has the right to have different opinions and tastes are subjective" NOPE. NOT TO ME. NOT WHEN IT COMES TO THIS.

i think its her best show, i just wish it were stadiums. 

shes way too big to be playing the same venues as benson boone or meghan trainor...

I feel like the show would be just as impactful without shallow on the setlist. But I’ve always felt disconnected to that song since it was written for a character and also its success irks me in a way bc I feel like from 2013 on, the GP only appreciates Gaga when she waters herself down. I don’t think the song would have seen any mainstream success if released as a Gaga single. And even now we have amazing pop bangers like abracadabra, disease, but the song that takes off is die with a smile.

Eh, disagreed. If anything, I think the placement in the show brings it into the world of Gaga and out of the world of ASIB perfectly and I think that moment with MR + Shallow is pivotal to the story and one of the most existing musical and theatrical reinventions she’s done of any songs on any of her tours.

Well if that’s the case I will love to see it, but I don’t really like shallow in general. I haven’t seen much of the show bc I’m waiting til my date

I wasn’t able to see BTW ball in person, (I’ve only seen Chromatica ball) and maybe if it had an official professional recording that was released I’d have a different opinion…so for me it’s Mayhem. I was weary about shallow and million reasons but WOW, when I saw it myself, and how they changed it up, I was really into it.

oops I keep editing as I think of more things: the only thing I would have liked to see is maybe once in awhile she covers a song from an influential artist on Mayhem, or plays it as a closing song. (This is just me selfishly wanting her to cover a NIN song lol)
