The problem with smokers is there’s no way to keep the smoke away from non-smokers if you’re in the same space, even outdoors. As someone with mild asthma brought on by Covid, second-hand smoke is extremely irritating to my lungs. 
 

Yes, alcohol is also dangerous, but there’s no such thing as second-hand drunk. 
 

I understand it’s an addiction. I have empathy for people trying to quit and understand most folks just can’t go cold turkey, but I also won’t glamorize smoking. It doesn’t look “cool” to me, and I don’t enjoy being around smokers—my lungs being irritated aside, it smells terrible, and the stench clings to everything and lingers.

Y'all really think you're not influenced by what you see in celebrities' behavior, movies, TV, ads, etc? You may not smoke but I bet there are many things in your lifestyle that are influenced by all of that.

I hope the people complaining about what other people put into their bodies don’t eat or consume any other addictive substances like sugar, alcohol, or caffeine

For me, it’s an oral fixation. I don’t smoke cigarettes, I use an e-cig but even then if someone is smoking a cig and I’m going to see my parents or are already nauseous and don’t wanna smell it, and this part is craaaaaazy…..I walk away

Idk haven’t cigarettes been used in photoshoots for ages? It’s not anything new. Smoking rates are the lowest they’ve ever been amongst young people. It’s all about vaping now apparently.

I recently clicked with smoking a little bit of the good stuff from time to time but cigarettes are still so gross  

The one and only time I ever smoked was for maybe a week (peer pressure) and I stg that disgusting taste stuck in the back of my throat for a a week after my last one. Never once have I wanted to do it again.

Cigs should have been illegal long long time ago, it's an addictive drug.

When I'm having myself a little lunch outside, enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having lately, and some tar sucker decides to infest my air with 47 carcinogens and the stench of ashes  

Idk about "losers" but it's awfully disrespectful a lot of the times 'cause smoking just isn't something you can do without effecting others unless you only smoke alone in your house...and who does that

Vapes can be bad too, they've got the heavy metals and junk. My friend is so incredibly dependent on hitting his vape at least once an hour that I've literally seen him hit it in his sleep

I'm happy that people are calling this out, but I wonder if we're gonna have what we had in early 2021 where y'all chose to shame only women for smoking yet praise men for "looking hot" while doing it.

I personally don’t like cigarettes- they always made me feel nauseous and I couldn’t stand the smell.

I mean 90% of the new generation are vaping with their disposable app loaded devices. I don’t know celebrities smoking a cigarette will have any effect.
