Her fans should get high more often and maybe that would help them realize this bullshit... I didn't even feel the need to get the MAYHEM variants/all of them, I got one I liked and that was it. Plus, once an album is released you don't need to keep prolonging the hype by pulling this.

It gives such "pick-me" energy and that poor woman is clearly already having a hard time realizing monumental success is finite and she is clearly scared of not being on top of the charts/world for the rest of time. And that alone is such a greedy goal, and I can't fathom feeling proud when you've essentially cheated your way into the top of charts by playing with your fans that way and having to constantly keep releasing stuff. Its like she knows her albums really do have a short shelf life lol.  I'd feel sorry for her if I was capable of more empathy I guess.

Mayhem also has like 10 different vinyl variants. Yes, the marketing is different, but the absolute amount of variants is nothing special. TwentyOne Pilots had 21 vinyl variants by release week...

I just ever understood the appeal of collecting/buying ALL variants and why artists have to make so many. Like, a standard vinyl, and alternate cover, and a picture-disc/some cool vinyl are the only ones necessary and then people could just get the one they want and all 3 if they are so horny for it. But I guess knowing vinyls are just collected and displayed gives reason for artists to do it, and also merch is how they make money. It just seems excessive and as if you'd wanna put out different kinds of merch to make money. But the cost of merch anywhere is so excessive.. lol nothing below $20 it seems, and that will get you a sticker
